13in macbook air

macbook air OR macbook pro (13in)?

hi.
here im deciding if i should get mac-book pro or mac-book air.
i heard mac-book air is pretty thin and slim and light to carry but they do not have the CD thing so i have to purchase them separately.
i really want mac-book air just by looking at the design and the weight of it.
and which ones better??
and hows mac-book pro??
are they light to carry??

The MacBook Air is a great machine, but it is better used as a computer to simply access files on the go. If you are going to be using the laptop daily and for more than browsing the internet, listening to music, etc., then I would definitely consider the 13" Pro.

I just got my 13" about two weeks ago, and it is a great computer. Most, if not all, MacBooks are lighter than their PC "counterparts", so whichever one you choose will still be light yet durable. The Pro also has a CD/DVD drive, two USB ports, and several other features that the Air does not have. It is more suited to be a main computer, whereas the Air is more of a traveling device.

If you are just going to be using the computer for average tasks and light use, the Air will be fine. But if you want something that you can rely on to run quickly and efficiently, store lots of files, and still be physically manageable, then I think the MacBook Pro is your choice.
